CompTIA Network +

CompTIA Network + is an industry-respected and internationally recognised certification and is ideal if you are aiming to improve or validate your knowledge and skills. It was first introduced in 1999 and since then more than 200 thousand people have become CompTIA Network + certified. Corporations such as Microsoft include CompTIA network + in their program. CompTIA Network + follows an authorised curriculum that ensures you gain skills which will help you to succeed in a career within the IT industry. After successfully achieving the certificate you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the IT field and differentiate yourself to potential employers.

Entry Requirements

No experience is required. However, good computing skills are desirable if you would like to achieve a CompTIA Network + certification. Also, experience with network support is a plus. Students will learn the knowledge and skills needed to install, manage and troubleshoot a variety of networks and platforms. It is also recommended that you have a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium operating system or higher.


CompTIA Network+ certification validates the knowledge and skills of networking professionals.

You will learn foundational knowledge of computer networking hardware, protocols and services, as well as how to manage basic network infrastructure. Furthermore, you will gain knowledge of media and topologies, protocols and standards, as well as
network support and implementation with materials written by industry expert.

Exams: there is one online exam.
