PC Support Analyst

The role of a PC Support analyst is to resolve network or server issues that may arise and also support internal users on hardware or software issues that arise.

Work Responsibilities

The pc analyst monitors the efficiency of the server and resolves any faults. They provide support to users while also training staff. They are involved in the installation of new software and check all back up procedures are in place. PC support analysts attend to all troubleshooting calls ranging from printers not working to internet connections issues.

Skills Required

As a PC Support Analyst you must possess problem solving skills and be customer focused.

Work Hours and Environment

Although mostly a 09:00 to 17:30 job, the work hours can vary depending on the issues. They may also work in shifts. A PC support analyst typically works out of one office location but may be required to visit other locations as well to ensure everything is running well.

Salary

As a network support engineer you can earn anywhere between £ 17,000 to £ 26,000 depending on the level.
